Dr Nathan Williams is an approachable, professional and committed general practitioner, who is thorough and patient when addressing all aspects of your medical needs. His areas of interest include chronic disease management, skin checks and skin cancer management, children and men’s health and general medicine. 

Dr Williams has a holistic approach to managing your healthcare, and he is passionate about positive, healthy lifestyle promotion and preventative care.  He also has an interest in the responsible prescription of medical cannabis.

Before studying medicine, Dr Williams worked as a physiotherapist for 10 years, so he is also very well equipped to assist with any of your musculoskeletal complaints.  Having grown up in rural Queensland, he is also passionate about rural medicine, and also works in the Emergency Department in a small rural community in New South Wales. 

Dr Williams is currently accepting new patients.

Dr Guy Bouchet

Dr. Guy Bouchet is interested in all aspects of general medicine, he is English and French speaking and is a friendly and very experienced GP in the local area.

Dr Bouchet is available for appointments Monday to Friday and is currently welcoming new patients and all his regular patients to our friendly clinic.

When not working, he enjoys surfing, nature hikes and spending time at the beach.

Dr. Robert Wallace studied medicine locally at Griffith University and has worked at both Cairns Base and Gold Coast University Hospitals. He enjoys the variety afforded by General Practice, and has a special interest in children’s health, sports medicine and skin cancer medicine. In his spare time Robert enjoys surfing, travelling and spending time with his family (dog included of course!).

Dr Alison Hartwell

Dr Alison Hartwell studied medicine locally at Griffith University and trained at the Gold Coast Hospital, prior to moving to Burleigh Town Medical Centre in January 2015. Alison’s special interests in antenatal shared care, children’s and womens health, general medicine and preventative medicine. She also undertakes PRP treatment. She is welcoming new and old patients to the practice.

As a GP and specialistic skin cancer doctor I have been practicing medicine since 1985. Over the years I have seen the steady increase in skin cancer within our community and astounded by the frequency of advanced malignancies which need immediate treatment. My practice is now focussed on saving lives by diagnosing and treating all forms of skin cancer.

I began my journey and interest in this field due to the needs of my patients and having the privilege of working with many talented surgeons in this field. This experience has enabled me to bring advanced surgical expertise to this clinic normally only found in hospitals.

Our James St Specialistic Practice now provides a superior standard of care and treatment of skin cancer. This includes regular skin checks vital for a healthy lifestyle within our climate and geographic location. Using cutting edge technology, we are equipped to diagnose life threatening skin cancers early in their progression. We treat all forms of skin cancer including melanoma. More advanced skin cancers requiring hospitalisation are referred to our specialistic network of surgeons. This full service ensures all skin cancers are treated, and our community is protected.
