Dr Rosanna Devlet BMed FRACGP

Burleigh Town Medical Centre welcomes Dr Devlet. She is consulting Tuesday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.00pm.

Rosanna obtained her initial bachelor of Medicine in Russia before she moved to New Zealand in 1995. In New Zealand she worked in hospitals and as a GP until 2011.

From there she moved to Melbourne to be with her 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters. She worked as a GP in Melbourne until 2023 then moved up to the Gold Coast with her husband whom is a retired dentist. 

She enjoys caring for her patients and believes in quality care. She has a special interest in women's health. Dr Devlet offers insertion and removal of the hormonal IUD - Mirena.

Dr Guy Bouchet

Dr. Guy Bouchet is interested in all aspects of general medicine, he is English and French speaking and is a friendly and very experienced GP in the local area.

Dr Bouchet is available for appointments Monday to Friday and is currently welcoming new patients and all his regular patients to our friendly clinic.

When not working, he enjoys surfing, nature hikes and spending time at the beach.

Dr. Nedzara Delic is available for appointments Monday to Friday and is currently welcoming new patients. She is multi lingual, speaking English, Croatian, and some German.

She is interested in all aspects of general medicine.

Dr Abhishta Bhandari

Biography

Dr. Abhi is a graduate of James Cook University. He has spent time in many healthcare settings such as Townsville University Hospital, Redcliffe District Hospital, Longreach and Blackall Hospitals. He brings a broad range of experience in surgery (such as orthopaedics, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, trauma and general surgery), medicine (general medicine, gastroenterology, respiratory and cardiology) and critical care (emergency and ICU). He has spent a significant amount of time working in rural emergency departments in Blackall and Longreach. He has an interest in technology and has recently helped publish a book on artificial intelligence in medicine. He prides himself in bringing an empathetic and individualised approach to patient care. His hobbies outside of working are music (loves collecting headphones) and going to a lot of social events.

Dr Abhi consults from Burleigh Town Medical Centre on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and welcomes new patients.

Biography

As a GP and specialistic skin cancer doctor I have been practicing medicine since 1985. Over the years I have seen the steady increase in skin cancer within our community and astounded by the frequency of advanced malignancies which need immediate treatment. My practice is now focussed on saving lives by diagnosing and treating all forms of skin cancer.

I began my journey and interest in this field due to the needs of my patients and having the privilege of working with many talented surgeons in this field. This experience has enabled me to bring advanced surgical expertise to this clinic normally only found in hospitals.

Our James St Specialistic Practice now provides a superior standard of care and treatment of skin cancer. This includes regular skin checks vital for a healthy lifestyle within our climate and geographic location. Using cutting edge technology, we are equipped to diagnose life threatening skin cancers early in their progression. We treat all forms of skin cancer including melanoma. More advanced skin cancers requiring hospitalisation are referred to our specialistic network of surgeons. This full service ensures all skin cancers are treated, and our community is protected.

I bring a determination, diligence and professionalism to provide best practice treatments, and committed to passing on skills to my colleagues to develop a team of highly trained skin cancer doctors for our community.
